ART: Claydon Estate workshops and gallery has Milton Keynes artists at its core

Horizon Framing are working with local artists from Buckinghamshire in a series of exhibitions to promote original work from their workshop/gallery on the Claydon Estate in North Buckinghamshire. Each month through to the end of October, there will be a new exhibition featuring two artists with all work available to view and purchase.

The exhibitions cover an array of subject matter and mediums including, in April, Cathy Read's unique view of cityscapes in and around the UK.

Milton Keynes-based Cathy Read and Anita Adams will be showing their original work and will be available over the Easter weekend to talk to in person at the gallery.

Cathy Read is an international artist and was awarded the Barbara Tate Memorial Award by the Society of Women Artists for her Body of Work in 2015. She has exhibited with the SWA since 2013, becoming a member in 2015. She has also exhibited with the Royal Watercolour Society. She is a contestant in the 2016 Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year Competition.

Anita is a member of the Milton Keynes art society and paints for fun and relaxation using wonderful colour to bring life to her subject.

"The Courtyard" on the Claydon Estate, near Winslow, is an exciting new venue and art hub with an eclectic mix of galleries and studios showing original painted work, Shona sculpture from Zimbabwe, pottery, ceramics, photography and work using traditional printing processes.
