ART: STANTONBURY GALLERY WELCOMES DEBUT SOLO SHOW BY NAOMI LUTMAN

Art by Naomi Lutman will be taking over the exhibition space of Stantonbury Gallery this coming week, when the MK creative delivers her first solo exhibition.

From Monday (April 25) the show, 'Soulful Reflections – Emotive Expressions' will explore the subject of suppressed emotions and their effect on the well-being of mind, body and soul.

My work, whilst appearing to primarily display the nature of creatures through the reflection in the eyes, also represents a deeper message,” she explained.

Each piece alludes to the release of suppressed emotions and a bold exposure of my true self, laid bare for all to see.”

Her style constantly transitions between polar opposites, from bright to the dull and perfection and imperfection.

Her paintings – largely acrylic on canvas – are bold and brilliant, as you'll see if you take the time to visit as the show remains in situ through to Sunday, May 15th.

Pop in and discover which piece you are most drawn to, and you'll reveal your true reflection.

Now you are intrigued, admit it.

My collection of work highlights the cathartic effect of making a positive choice to open up to others as this simple action gradually awakens our spirit,” Naomi adds, “Through my work I consciously make the effort to develop my understanding of others, and I feel that this strengthens my personal power and nourishes my soul.”

> Naomi will be hosting two demonstrations on site during the exhibition, on Saturday, April 30th and Saturday, May 14th both between midday and 4.30pm.
