Milton Keynes Gallery to host fun 'Minecraft inspired' event

Join MK Gallery’s latest Family-in-Residence, the Pozzuto family, for a fun Minecraft inspired event for ages 0 to 11 today (Dec 18).

Over the past couple of months, the family has worked closely with artist Willow Mitchell to devise this one-off, public event which will see participants explore a land of gaming and pixels through playful, creative activities.

The Pozzutos, who are the Gallery’s third Family-in-Residence, have lived in Bletchley for the past seven years.

Mum Leanne, dad Riccardo, nan Shirley, and children Olivia and Leo, they are regular attendees of the Gallery’s Collaborate family workshops.
Leanne identifies Shirley as the creative influence in the family, with this creativity now being shared with the grandchildren.

The Family-in-Residence programme was devised by the Gallery’s learning team as a way of involving families, staff and artists in the co-creation of whole family events that meet the needs and interests of its communities.

The event takes place between 1 and 3pm in MK Gallery’s Events Space.

Tickets cost £1 per person on the door and can be reserved by clicking here
