SHARPEN UP WITH A PHOTOGRAPHY COURSE AT WESTBURY ARTS CENTRE

These days, everyone thinks they can capture a perfect image - but there is a big difference between being a Testino or Liebovitz, and knowing how to hold your camera phone steady enough for a selfie!

If you want to learn the art of photography, you want to learn from the experts.  And you would do well to take some pointers from MKs own Legge.

On Saturday (Jan 24), Legge will be hosting a one-day course at Westbury Arts Centre to shed some light on the art of photography - through increased understanding of camera controls and their uses.

The session will focus on digital cameras in the main, but film technologies will also feature for guidance.

Participants will first be given an introduction to significant camera types before receiving explanations on the primary technical aspects of camera work: "The explanations are designed to suit a range of abilities and will support practical exercises around the character farmhouse of Westbury," Legge said.

"These opportunities will help to re-enforce the knowledge gained and will provide positive and creative challenges at all levels of practice," he added.

The course fee is £25 and includes refreshments.
