Synopsis

1968: Minions are a little, yellow coloured, inferior species who love nothing more than providing the best assistance to whomever they happen across, their 'boss'. Stuart, Kevin and Bob are minions who are recruited by Scarlet Overkill (Bullock), a super-villain who hatches a plot to take over the world and snatch the crown from Queen Elizabeth II (Saunders).

Review

I could be too old and too set in my own narrowly defined cinematic prejudices to sit alongside my inner child and actually enjoy an animated, feature length film.

So, in the interested of an impartial review, I schlepped along to the MK Cineworld to see this much anticipated add-on to the massively successful Despicable Me film series with a notable addition, my four year old nephew Kyle.

Kyle, like many of the other children and toddlers watching this Saturday afternoon screening, is fanatically interested in the antics of the screen specimens who will stoop at nothing to serve whatever 'boss' they happen across.

This was a guiltily enjoyable film and to find out why I willingly put myself on trial to watch it, see the link below for a full review. With much appreciated pre-school input, of course.
