Open Film Society: Marguerite is this week's big screen choice

Every year, music lovers gather at Marguerite Dumont's chateau. Their hostess is rich and her life revolves around music.

What her sycophantic friends have never said to her is that she sings terribly out of tune!

When a journalist writes a rave article on her latest performance, Marguerite decides to train for a recital in front of a real audience.

Shot in Prague, and released in 2015, the French offering recreates the Paris of the Twenties.

Marguerite is this week's Open Film club choice, and shows on Wednesday night (December 21) at 6.30pm at the OU Hub Theatre on Walton Hall Campus.
