ROMANTIC NOVELISTS' ASSOCIATION AWARD FOR OUR CAROLE

Bestselling author Carole Matthews is thrilled to have been honoured by the Romantic Novelists’ Association with an outstanding achievement award.

Our Carole writes her warm and witty romantic comedy novels from her Tattenhoe home - affectionately known as Matthews’ Towers to her social media community.  She was presented with the award at a glitzy bash this week.

The accolade acknowledges Carole’s 18 years as a chart-topping author and coincides with the publication of her twenty-sixth novel, The Cake Shop in the Garden.

Iconic novelist Barbara Taylor-Bradford presented Carole and fellow author Jill Mansell with their awards.

Carole said: “It was fantastic to meet Barbara, she was so charming.  Jill and I started out publishing romance and were with the same publishing house for many years, so it was lovely to receive our awards together.”

Carole has sold more than four million books and is published in 30 different countries.

Her latest page-turner, The Cake Shop in the Garden, is available now in hardback and ebook. The paperback will be released on 23 April.
