Review by Jason Day

It's not often films are made that can entertain audiences of all ages and also distil complex elements of cognitive psychology with clarity, imagination and wit.

And it's not often a film critic gets to say that. I'm no animation-phile and have written previously about finding their tendency for glib humour and anachronism aggravating, but this film sweeps all of those cheap cartoons away with ease.

I could wax lyrical all day about this delightful and deeply moving motion picture. Even if you have seen it, watch it again and marvel at how the human condition can be so eloquently chronicled in only 94 minutes. And the kids? They'll love it too. Stunning, on every level.
