Enjoy more than fine whisky and wine when you dine at The Black Horse in Woburn

If you're searching for a swift feast on small but perfectly formed dishes paired with a crisp glass of bubbles or a generous grand coupe of gin, The Black Horse in Woburn has got everything you need to make any trip to the bar complete.

This season, the gorgeous gastropub has launched an exciting menu of deli plates, irresistible little dishes of mouth-watering morsels that are the perfect partners to its fabulous new drinks list created to make the most of any occasion.

Sidle up to the bar and peruse the new drinks list before picking the perfect accompaniment to that first pint or cocktail.

The Black Horse's new drinks list features an amazing selection of aperitifs, cocktails, fizz, mocktails and wine as well as a carefully chosen range of gin, including two new arrivals - meaning there's always something delicious to match your food or your mood.

For something delectably different, why not try a Whitley Neill Rhubarb & Ginger Grand Gin, made with a hand-crafted gin of exceptional quality that blends tart, crisp rhubarb with warming ginger and a twist of orange sweetness. Served in a grand coupe with plenty of ice and either tonic and a twist of lemon or ginger ale, it's a seasonal winner.

If whisky's your thing, The Black Horse's recently reformed range has plenty in store, from the distinctive character of The Balvenie Double Wood 12 year old single malt to
the rich and peaty Lagavulin and vibrant and fruity Glenfiddich IPA Cask, a really smooth dram finished in casks seasoned with India Pale Ale from the Speyside Craft Brewery.

Make it a proper night out by ordering one of The Black Horse's strong classic cocktails. Go for a Gimlet, a 1928 recipe of Hayman’s Navy Strength gin and lime juice which is simple yet truly refreshing.

There's also Peach Old Fashioned, made with Woodford Reserve bourbon mixed with Briottet Crème de Pêche Liqueur to be strong yet slightly sweet with peach and spice notes. It's a new twist on a classic drink created for Peach1, the company behind The Black Horse, as it celebrates its 15th birthday this year.

Or treat yourself to a bottle of Balfour Leslie’s Reserve, a vibrant English sparkling wine with a young, fresh style and hints of brioche and red apple made on the Hush Heath Estate in Kent. Bright gold with pretty pink highlights, it's ideal with nibbles from The Black Horse's delicious deli plate selection.
