Feeling hungry? MK Feast will cater for you this week

If you got a taste for MK Feast when the food and drink fair made its debut earlier this year, you are in luck - it's back at Bradwell Abbey this Sunday (July 24).

Brought to you by the MK Food Revolution, it is a chance to give your tastebuds a treat and support local food producers in the process.

MK Feast has the very best of Milton Keynes' home-grown products in a family-friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

"This is a unique food, drink and arts festival because we only invite high quality traders with MK postcodes to take part," says organiser Franzi Florack.
Six cold food stalls, five artists, five charities and 10 street food vans will fill the area with temptation.

And if you were among the thousands who visited the first time around, you'll be impressed by how much the event has grown for this second instalment.

The second barn of the Abbey will also be filled with a craft beer bar, run by MK Biergarten.  A great excuse to raise a pint and say 'Cheers!'
So far as the food stuff goes, it ranges from Indian to Mexican and Moroccan and all the way through to some quite marvellous cheese toasties.

And with more people choosing to go meat free, vegetarian and vegan outlets will be on hand to show that food can still be fab when you leave the animal products behind.

"MK Feast is a unique food, drink and arts festival because we only invite high quality traders with MK postcodes to take part.
"On Sunday live music and a bar stocked with local beer should really add to the festival atmosphere and we hope that people have a smashing day and support their local small businesses at the same time.

Milton Keynes has a lot of independent small traders who struggle to get the word out about their businesses. In a city where brands are king, Feast gives individuals much deserved exposure and recognition.

"By supporting the traders, the citizens of Milton Keynes contribute to our local economy and they have the exciting chance to get to know the people who produce the food and drink for them.

A farmers market will dish up even more temptation with everything from chocolate to chutneys to honey and cakes.  Go on, be a little bit naughty!
When your belly is full, there will still be plenty to look at, with stalls also offering soap, photographs, art and flowers.  It'll be a blooming great event all round!

"Live music and a bar stocked with local beer should really add to the festival atmosphere and we hope that people have a smashing day and support their local small businesses at the same time," said Franzi.
