More than 5000 food fans attend the second MK Feast at Bradwell Abbey!

Bradwell Abbey was transformed from tranquil green space to a tasty eating place yesterday (Sun) when the second MK Feast instalment cooked up a storm on site.

Whether meat eater or vegan, savoury fan or sweet-toothed chocolate lover, everyone who attended the Total MK backed event had their full fill.
Organiser Franzi Florack, from the MK Food Revolution, was thrilled with the response.

“MK Feast was a great success,” she told Total MK.

“Over the day, 5000 visitors came to the abbey to celebrate local food and drink.

“The atmosphere was really relaxed and friendly and the addition of the live music, a bar and more street food vans meant that many visitors spent a whole day with us.”

And tempting food crossed with big appetites meant traders were cleaned out!

“Several of our traders sold out all together and many of them commented on the success of the day and how special it was to see an event like this in Milton Keynes,” Franzi added.

“We were very excited about the enthusiastic feedback and already look forward to the Christmas FEAST on the 11th December!
