Last year their duo concert in Bedford was a total sell-out, so Friday's (Oct 2) return by British Jazz and Soul diva Natalie Williams and American singer and pianist (and now Bedford resident) Charlie Wood, is a particularly welcome visit.
An evening of 'soul, jazz, R&B and beyond' is promised, with an all-star band helping to make for a memorable night.
This show is the latest instalment in the A Song For You concert promotion from the mind of British jazz vocalist Jacqui Dankworth who will present at the event, and introduce the music makers.
Williams is a MOBO nominee, and Wood – as regular readers of Total MK will be aware – has been honoured with a Brass Note on Beale Street in his native, Memphis, Tennessee.
Last month they performed together at the opening night of new Covent Garden music hub, the Singers' Lounge.
The Bedford date – at the Quarry Theatre – will see both artists offer their interpretations of classic soul and R&B tracks by luminaries including Marvin Gaye, Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder.
Jazz standards and original material by both artists will also feature.
Seating is limited and tickets are being snapped up.
