Anyone for a new Christmas song? Here's Hannah's Yard to the rescue!

One of our local collectives has gone all festive and delivered a seasonal song.

Hurrah!

Banish Band Aid and prepare to pass-by Slade - instead, get involved with Olney-based Hannah's Yard, and their warming delivery (It's Christmas) Say That You'll Stay.

It's a bonus release that was recorded at the Institute at Abbey Road Studios, has played on BBC Radio Two, and received backing from more than 20 regional BBC stations and up and down the country.  It's doing swell.

But this isn't the usual novelty song that is normally rolled out at this time of year. Perhaps that explains why it has struck a chord with the public - having already clocked up more than 15,000 views on Youtube.

"Lyrically, (It's Christmas) Say That You'll Stay suggests that Christmas can be a time to allow relationships to grow stronger, heal and work themselves into a better place," say those responsible.

It is available on all digital/online outlets, and you can view the video by clicking here
