DEAD RECKONING CALL TIME AT THE CRAUFURD ARMS

Dead Reckoning have announced that Saturday's (May 28) Craufurd Arms date will be their last.

The announcement will shock fans of the metal quintet who were hoping that a debut album was a 'dead' cert from the band.

Speaking about the band's swan-song frontman Tyler Hodges said: “What's better than finishing something in the same place it started, The Craufurd Arms Venue?

Over the last year or so Dead Reckoning have grown to become a local force, a very well respected young band who chose to reject the modern digital style of tech metal pioneered in MK and show the kids it should be real, organic and played! In doing so we grew to pack out our local venue and also played some quality shows across the country. But unfortunately the time has come for this particular journey to end...”

That said, members will still be active moving forward. The majority of the band are heading to Guildford to study at ACM this Autumn, so music will be at the fore once more.

Expect plenty of projects and music making to filter out in due course.

But back to this weekend's show, which will pack a right feisty punch.

The headliners have personally chosen those to join them on the night, with Oxford-based Twisted State of Mind in the special guest spot.

Still all only 16 years old, they've already toured the States, played across the UK and recently laid down their debut album. Metal meets alt-rock with plenty of passion.

The Moral Deficit and Depravity take care of the remainder of the bill.

Tickets are a fiver, and doors open at 7pm.

Let's leave the last word to Tyler: “The support to this point has been fantastic, let's get Dead 'Recked' one final time!”
