Don't forget your greens - Cabbage to play Bedford Esquires this week!

The best things come to those who wait - and Pad Presents in Bedford have finally managed to secure a date with Cabbage, with ridiculously strong support from The Blinders and Queen Zee & The Sasstones!

Indie rockers Cabbage headlined the Pad's stage at Levels Festival in Luton last year and have since become the hottest band in the UK, selling out every single date on their tour earlier this year.

With a collective desire to express themselves creatively, artistically, and in a semi rebellious - but ultimately meaningful nature - Cabbage are here to fight for all that's good.

With “the black humour of Buzzcocks, the surrealism of Happy Mondays, the haircuts of various Stone Roses” (i-D), Cabbage are a semi-controlled riot of tunes, energy and opinions.
NME described their debut EP ‘Le Chou’ as “five twisted post-punk slinkers stuffed with explicit lyrics and Jack White levels of rage” while The Guardian suggested that “they’re hell-bent on filling the current vacancy for rock’n’roll commentator on Brexit Britain.”

Tickets for Wednesday's show (Oct 18) are £13 and you can book them here
