FESTIVAL BUSINESS: RAGING SPEEDHORN TALK ABOUT THEIR RETURN TO DOWNLOAD

Raging Speedhorn came back with a bang when they played Sonisphere a couple of years back, and they've since returned to the Keynes too.

But with a new album on the way, Corby's finest are heading back to this year's Download Festival.

Catch them headlining the Dogtooth stage this Friday night (June 10).

Drummer Gordon Morrison talked festival business with Total MK...

How special is it to be playing at Download – the British home of rock and metal?

For us it's really special to be playing back at download festival. We played the first ever Download so it's really nice to be asked back this year.

What can the Download faithful expect from your set?

I think we're going to be playing some new songs at Download but there's still going to be some old bangers in there too.

How will you spend the rest of your time on site?

Getting really drunk, hanging out with some friends and watching some kick ass bands.

Anyone else you are keen to check out?

Zoax, Black Sabbath, Korn. NoFX Deftones, Graveyard, Glassjaw. I think this year's line up is amazing to be honest.

Tell us about your best – and worst – festival experiences.

The worst was when we played Sumer Sonic in Japan in a baseball stadium and we were too hungover to play.

I couldn't play my drums! It was so bad that Frank was being sick everywhere on stage. Bad times.

I think the best time we played a festival was Ozz Fest.

It was the first proper festival we'd ever played and it just went crazy the minute we started playing.

I think we played to over 60,000 people that day. Unreal.

And what three festival essentials should Download ticket-holders be sure to pack before heading to the site?

Lots of booze, water and a tent.

And share a little of what you've been up to lately...

RSH have just recorded a new record through Pledge music. It'll be released in July. We also have a tour in July to support the record, as well as some other festivals appearances.
