IN PICTURES: NICK OLIVERI AT THE CRAUFURD ARMS

Nick Oliveri prepared for his headlining spot at the Download Festival with a date here in MK on Saturday night. The former Queens of the Stone Age bassist played The Craufurd Arms ahead of his Jagermeister Stage top billing the following day. Oliveri is out on the road for the long-haul on an extensive tour to plug the new single Human Cannonball Explodes, and to prepare the way for the launch of a new solo record in September. He used Saturday's intimate gig to deliver material by his former bands QOTSA and Kyuss, ongoing musical project Mondo Generator and tracks from some of his most favoured artists - Turbonegro, GG Allin and 'One of my favourite English bands' Sub Humans.
