Los Labios bring a touch of Spanish flair to Bedford Esquires this weekend.

Spanish Rock band Los Labios are currently touring in the UK as support to John Fairhurst.

The band, from Seville, features guitarist Charlie Cepeda and English/Australian vocalist Sammy Taylor.

Charlie is a Spanish rock'n roll guitar hero and prestigious producer who has  collaborated with Chrissie Hynde (The Pretenders) and Jackson Browne, while Sammy has cut his teeth in the London scene and was known in bands like The Dealers and Sammy T and his tight trousers, among others.

Los Labios have a great sound and an interesting story. Their debut album "Birthday" was produced by Craig Ross who is Lenny Kravitz's guitarist and co-author of many of his hits. The pair discovered Los Labios and invited them in to their private analogue heaven where the album was made.

Since the release in March, the band have been touring in Spain but also in the US, Colombia, Australia, and Mexico, including shows at the famous Whiskey A Go Go in L.A.

A documentary is coming imminently too - made earlier this year by UK company Rabbit on the Moon.

See Los Labios with John Fairhurst at Bedford Esquires this Sunday (November 19) when the two acts play the last date of the tour.
