MAMA'S BOY PAT READY TO BRING CELTIC CLASS TO MK11

Blues rock with a pinch of Celtic class is served in the capable hands of the Pat McManus Band at MK11 on Friday (April 15) night.

The Irish power rock trio are fronted by one-time Mama's Boys guitarist and Celtus member Pat, who has spent his life music making, accumulating plenty of stories along the way.

Doubtless some of those will make the final cut in a recently recorded documentary by Irish TV focussing on Pat and his equally musical family.

Earlier this year, all of his violins (he can find his way around one of those no bother too), guitars and foot-pedals were stolen from his van, while in Leeds.

One item was a violin dating back to the 1780s, but trouper that he is, Pat insisted the tour continue as planned.

Doors at the Kiln Farm haunt open at 7.30pm and tickets are a tenner.
