MK11: RED CROW AND MR WOLFE LEAD THIS FRIDAY'S SESSION

MK11 has live music from Red Crow  this Friday evening (Aug 8). The solo acoustic project belonging to Patrick Currier has now blossomed into s small collective of musicians at play, and if the track My Life As A Dead Man is anything to judge them by, this lot are a decidedly smart proposition. The Banbury-based creatives also make use of a double-bass, which is never a bad thing in our books. The rather brilliant blues-alt-rockers Mr Wolfe are also on the bill.  The quartet issued their debut EP at the start of the year and the five tracker was a hit with Total MKs scribes. Mr Wolfe have been out and about this summer, with dates at the local festivals Properstock and Great Linford Waterside, and they've more live stuff lined-up in the coming weeks. Pop a pint in hand in time for them to crack open the song,  Telling Time  - a great start to your weekend. Rise Bailey Rise will open up the three-tiered bash, and doors open at 7.30pm.
