SEETHE LAUNCH ALBUM NUMBER TWO, RISE FROM RUIN

Seethe are back in play with a heavy as hell new album, which they are launching on Saturday night (Jan 17) at The Craufurd Arms.

Milton Keynes' own metallic monsters have already stage-shared with esteemed names including Soulfly, Biohazard and TesseracT, and received sterling praise in support of their debut album,Through Conviction, back in 2012.

But there is no need for the band to be looking back over their shoulder at past achievements - not when they have this newbie CD, Rise from Ruin, ready to cut loose.

"It feels great to finally be releasing our new album,  This album has been quite a long process, from writing to recording and it has been one we've deliberately tried not to rush, and take our time with.

"We also decided to take on the challenge of recording and mixing this ourselves so that was a big decision to take," Seethe drummer Matt told us.

TesseracT guitarist Acle Kahney stepped up for the mastering of the release, and the band are thrilled with the overall result.

"This is definitely the heaviest Seethe record to date, so we're all very excited to release it and get it out for everyone to hear."

It marks a certain progression and change of tack too.

"Over the years, we've worked hard on strengthening our metallic sound which has definitely progressed a lot...during the process, we decided to recruit a second vocalist to expand our sound and explore more new vocal territories," Matt said.

"It definitely gives more energy and dynamics to our music."

Saturday's date will  see support coming from Sacramental and Crossburner.

Tickets are on sale at £5.
