Paul Weller fans might want to forget that Sunday evening (April 24) chill in front of the box, and instead make the short trip across to Bedford Esquires where Songbook Collective will be waiting for you.
For the uninitiated, this collective of music makers comprises Steve Cradock, Andy Lewis, Andy Crofts, Steve Pilgrim and Ben Gordelier – all members of Weller's band, serving as the Modfather's musical backbone.
They all have their own projects too, of course, with Steve (below) also known for his Ocean Colour Scene work, while Pilgrim has also worked with The Stands and Cast.
When not hitting the hard things for Weller, Ben keeps The Moons in check.
Together, they will delve into a catalogue that is bubbling with the good stuff from their own back catalogues.
Doors open at 7.30pm and tickets are £16 in advance.
