THIS WEEK AT THE STABLES: DEL BROMHAM AND BERNIE MARSDEN TEAM UP FOR CHARITY, AND 'KATE BUSH' POPS BY...

A tasty night lies ahead at The Stables this evening (Fri, Jan 15), but only if you got in early: tickets for the Larry Miller fundraiser are all sold out, save for a few standing tickets, if you are lucky.

Fans will know already that Larry won't be performing at this show, but a couple of local faces with international pedigree are stepping up, in the shape of Del Bromham (pictured top, with Larry) and Bernie Marsden (below).

Larry recently suffered a stroke and is recovering. Most of his income comes from his live shows, and this cash-raiser will help him through this difficult time.

On behalf of all Total MK readers, we wish Larry a speedy recovery.

Some of you might have seen Dreaming of Kate (below) at the venue previously, and the tribute to Kate Bush is back in play on Saturday (Jan 16).

This is a little bit more than 'just' a glorified cover outfit, mind you.

Kate is actually Maaike Breijman, and she not only looks like the elusive artist, she has one 'eck of a vocal range too.

Enjoy all the hits you love and expect, Running Up That Hill, Wuthering Heights. Babooshka, Hounds of Love, King of the Mountain, and so on, when Kate and her band of gypsies take over.

Tickets are still booking, and if the line is busy when you call, Don't Give Up*, do call again, or hit the web: www.stables.org

*A little joke for the Kate fiends among you.
