WATCH: The Foo Fighters Arms refreshes the parts other bands can't reach!

We've rocked with them in Milton Keynes, and rolled with them in Los Angeles, so when Total MK was invited to the launch of the new Foo Fighters pop-up boozer, naturally we popped along for a swift half…

Something has been brewing in East London, and it has got people all excited.  And a queue snaking its way around the outside of The Dundee Arms says it’s more than the crisps behind the bar that are responsible for the surge of interest.
If you look up, a giveaway sign is hanging above this Bethnal Green watering hole, placed here earlier today.
For the following six days, The Dundee Arms will be known as The Foo Fighters Arms.

It's Thursday night, the eve of the new FF album release, and this is an invite-only preview event to cater for the media and a few fans lucky enough to have bagged a ticket from a random lottery.
The pub is bustling and bedecked with FF cool - from the beers on tap to refresh the parts that other bands can't reach (nope, none are called Grohl-sch), to the elaborate paintings of the band, which would sit fairly well among the wall hangings of any stately home you care to mention.
It's dead smart inside, and it's loud. Very LOUD, thanks to an impressive mix of chatter and natter jostling to be heard alongside Concrete and Gold.
Someone has cranked that volume button, and then some.
Once ticket-holders gained access to the bar, the serious business of queue number two began – as foo fans prepared to splash the cash on special ‘pub merch’ - limited edition t-shirts, bags, prints and vinyl.
At the cheaper end, you could plump for a simple mug, while those feeling decidedly flush could shell out on the best china teaset we've ever clapped eyes on.
But with a cool £250 price tag, you’d probably want Mr Grohl to be serving your cup of English breakfast as part of the deal.
One for all the Brew Fighters out there, maybe?

A great pop-up, and a great way to welcome in album number nine from the band.  If you get the chance, pop in and soak up the beer, and the atmosphere.

The Foo Fighters Arms (339 Cambridge Heath Road, E2 9LH) will be open daily until Wednesday, September 20.
