Acuitis bring real specs appeal to Milton Keynes with new store launch

The second UK branch of Acuitis opened on Friday in Milton Keynes.  Acuitis has forty branches across Europe, but the new store in centre:mk is the first outside London.

At the opening celebrations guests including Mayor David Hopkins  tried on glasses from the wide choice of frames with the help of celebrated eyewear artist, Frederic Beausoleil, who is renowned for his passion of selecting only the most exquisite but unusual materials to create unique frames that you won’t find anywhere else.

“We welcome another retail business to centre.mk and we’re particularly flattered that Acuitis has chosen Milton Keynes as the first town outside London to host one of their stores," said Councillor Hopkins.

Acuitis UK MD, Diane Newman added: “We are thrilled with the location at centre.mk, Milton Keynes has a great vibe and mix of people – we’re looking forward to introducing them to our unique Acuitis style.”

Acuitis also offers comprehensive eye tests and has equipment on site that you won’t find in most standard opticians. It can provide very detailed measurements of your eye and spot early signs of common diseases such as Age Related Macular Degeneration (AMD), glaucoma and cataracts.
The Acuitis philosophy is to combine creativity and health, state-of-the-art technology and ethics with fashion and affordability.
