Great British Bake Off winner Nadiya Hussain in Q&A session at intu Milton Keynes

intu Milton Keynes will host an ‘audience with’ Great British Bake Off winner, and new Milton Keynes resident, Nadiya Hussain on Saturday, August 27 to launch its new events area at Oak Court.
 
Nadiya will take centre stage for a question and answer session, hosted by MKFM presenter Chris Gregg from 1pm, where the public will be invited to ask about her rise to stardom, followed by a meet and greet.
 
The free event will officialy launch intu Milton Keynes’s newly refurbished Oak Court, which  is now open for local businesses, performers and artists to use and the public to enjoy. 


The space has been refurbished as part of plans to bring more leisure experiences to intu Milton Keynes, with the proposed redevelopment set to introduce exciting new restaurants, a boutique cinema and shops not available elsewhere  in the city.

“Milton Keynes is now my home so I’m delighted to be working with intu Milton Keynes and its team who share my passion for being a part of the local community. intu Milton Keynes is at the very heart of a growing and prosperous city which I’m thrilled to have moved to and I can’t wait to meet more people from the area.” Nadiya said.
 
“We’re incredibly excited Nadiya will be launching our new Oak Court area at intu Milton Keynes by holding her first major engagement since moving to the city”, added Shelley Peppard, general manager at intu Milton Keynes. 
“She is a wonderful new ambassador for Milton Keynes."
 
 
Members of the public are being invited to send in their questions to Nadiya on the intu Milton Keynes Facebook page, and the best questions will be put to the baking queen on the day.

Later the same day, Nadiya will be signing copies of her debut children’s book, Nadiya's Bake Me a Story, at Waterstones from  3pm.
