Following the adverse weather conditions and the cancellation of this evening's (Fri) Proms in Campbell Park, The Parks Trust and Milton Keynes City Orchestra have issued a statement explaining the on site conditions and forecast of further heavy rain left them with no alternative but to cancel the event.
They added: 'We are sorry to all those that have booked tickets and our sponsors and full refunds will be available. We will be making contact next week to arrange refunds.
'Apologies again we are very disappointed to have had to make this decision.'
