Soprano Jeni Bern has been added to this year's Proms in Campbell Park bill, on August 19.
Jeni will perform a stunning repertoire of opera and moments from the musicals, including pieces from The Sound of Music and My Fair Lady.
And she will be responsible of leading the audience through the traditional finale when the flags flap in the air and the champagne glasses clinked - for Jerusalem, Rule Britannia and Land of Hope and Glory.
A big screen will help to bring the audience closer to the on-stage action this year, and a ‘new twist with the dramatic firework display’ is promised.
