Tandem skydive heightens support for Willen Hospice in Milton Keynes

Fifty thrill seeking skydivers took to the skies on Sunday 14th May to take part in a tandem skydive from 13,000 ft as part of Willen Hospice’s annual parachute jump day.

The jump took place at Hinton-in-the-Hedges Air Field in Brackley and the sky divers have currently raised over £19,000 to support the care at the Hospice.

Sarah Sweet-Rowley, events manager at Willen Hospice said: “This was another amazing parachute jump day for Willen Hospice and we were yet again bowled over by the dedication of all our skydivers and the amazing support they received from their sponsors.

"Our Hospice needs to raise £7 every single minute of the year and everyone who took part should feel incredibly proud in the part they’ve played in helping us always be there to care.”
