Kenneth Williams is undoubtedly one of the most recognisable faces (and voices) in British comedy history.
A household name thanks to his work on Hancock’s Half Hour, Round the Horne and a staggering twenty-five Carry On films, his career is the stuff of comedy legend.
Cult Figure: Kenneth Williams is a brand new production telling the great man’s story in his own words, using some of the most hilarious and poignant stories and anecdotes he shared throughout his life.
Colin Elmer who starred as Williams in the 50th Anniversary Tour of Round the Horne (which visited Stantonbury last year), brings the great man to life in both body, voice and spirit, evoking the sense of mischief and naughtiness that became Kenneth Williams’ trademark and providing an entertaining insight into the man behind the mask.
Prepare for an evening of hilarity, sincerity and plenty of messing about when the curtain rises at 7.30pm on Friday (October 6).
