Reading Between The Lines there's a rousing farce ahead!

A rousing farce from the pen of Geoff Bamber hits the stage this week, with Tread the Boards bringing the goods.

When Professor Andrew Stokes arrives at his new home in a small village he has in mind an easy and peaceful life - but with his ambitious wife organising a Literary Festival and hosting a highly strung romantic novelist, his life is about to become anything but peaceful.

Soon the home in the country is as bustling as city life and the arrival of an old chum with an eye for the ladies is the final straw.

Add into the mix his wife’s sexually-liberated French old school friend, a shy bachelor Vicar, and a Bishop with a liking for the ladies, and the scene is set for conflict and confusion with hilarious consequences.

Reading Between the Lines will be presented at The Chrysalis Theatre, Japonica Lane, Willen Park South on Friday (April 7) and Saturday (April 8).
Performances begin at 7.15 pm. Admission is £10 for adults and £8 for Concessions.
