Relatively Speaking, this is a fabulous slice of Ayckbourn writing

Robert Powell and Liza Goddard star in the awesome Alan Ayckbourn delivery Relatively Speaking, when it returns to Milton Keynes Theatre from Tuesday (November 14).

It's a beautifully crafted and charmingly English slice of humorous theatre – and it was this piece that first bought Ayckbourn success in the West End.

Greg only met Ginny a month ago, but has already made up his mind that she's the girl for him.

When she tells him that she's going to visit her parents, he decides this is the moment to ask her father for his daughter's hand.

Discovering a scribbled address, he follows her to these parts – Buckinghamshire – where he finds Philip and Sheila enjoying a peaceful Sunday morning breakfast in the garden...except they aren't Ginny's parents...

Lindsay Campbell and Anthony Eden star as Ginny and Greg in the show, which remains in MK until Saturday (November 19).
