Rude puppets and even ruder songs - Avenue Q is back in Milton Keynes

After nine years away from venue, Company MK return to Stantonbury Campus from Wednesday (April 19) with the raucous and risqué puppet musical, Avenue Q.

But if the puppets look cuddly and cute, don’t fall under the illusion that this show is suitable for kids.

It definitely isn’t!

Princeton has just graduated from university and finds himself in Avenue Q – not the swankiest of streets, but home to an unlikely collection of friends, both human and puppet!

He is looking for his purpose in life, but is sabotaged by his new neighbours, a busty blonde, a broken relationship and a broken bank account.

Avenue Q promises a hilarious night out, with catchy tunes, outrageous jokes and a monster obsessed with the more dubious side of the internet.

It’s a big, beaming celebration of life, love and puppets, delivered by one of MK’s finest amateur theatre company’s - as well they should be; they’ve been bringing the goods to stages for more than 20 years now.

Avenue Q shows through to April 22, and tickets - at £16 & £13 - are on sale now here
