SOMETHING FOR THE WEEKEND - WITH SNAKECHARMER AND NEARLY DAN

Still stuck for something to do this Saturday (Jan 17) evening?

Classic rock fans could do a lot worse than take a ticket for Snakecharmer, at The Stables.

Coming together to make a nice noise are original Whitesnake members Micky Moody and Neil Murray, Laurie Wisefield (Wishbone Ash), Harry James (sticksman with Thunder), Adam Wakeman (above, son of Rick and long time Ozzy Osbourne keyboardist) and Chris Ousey from Heartland.

Expect Whitesnake classics Here I Go Again and Fool For Your Loving, for starters.

The Stage 2 performance by Peter Howarth - West End player, Cliff Richard sidekick and recent day Hollies front man - is sold out.

Steely Dan fans have a night to relish on tomorrow (Jan 18), with the rescheduled date by tribute mob Nearly Dan.

If you have a fondness for tracks like Reelin' in the Years, Rikki Don't Lose that Number and Deacon Blues, this band are an above average imitation.  Hearing is believing, but you'll need to be quick - at the time of writing only single tickets are available.

Go book your tickets at www.stables.org or call 01908 280800.
