STAGE EXPERIENCE 2016: AUDITIONS FOR FAME THE MUSICAL AT MK THEATRE

Auditions are nearing for Fame the Musical, this year's Stage Experience production at MK Theatre – and applications must be received by this Friday (April 1).

If you haven't already applied and want the chance to perform at MK Theatre, now is the time to act!

It's a unique summer holiday performance project produced by MKT's Creative Learning Department, and Fame will be the fifth such production – following on from West Side Story, Guys and Dolls, Footloose and The Wiz.

A two-week rehearsal period is followed by the chance to see what life is really like as a performer in musical theatre.

And just like the students in Fame learn, participants will learn that theatre-land takes a lot of hard work and a passion for performing.

The first step is those aforementioned auditions, which are being held at Milton Keynes College on Thursday, April 7, and run as follows:

Students in school years five to 11 at 10am

Students in school years 12 & 13, or university years one to three at 2pm (maximum age 21).

A second round of re-call auditions will be held on Friday (April 8).

As we said at the start, auditions are by application only, which must be received by this Friday (April 1), so get a wriggle on!
