A FAIR DEAL IN CRAFTS AT OLNEY CENTRE THIS WEEKEND

The Olney BOFF isn't the only event planned in the town this weekend - on Sunday (September 7) the Olney Centre will be hosting a craft and vintage fair. Hand created items, vintage clothing, furniture and accessories will tempt visitors to the monthly event, open between 10am and 4pm. "We aim to be more than a fair'; laying on extra attractions and activities so there is something for everyone to see and do," promised organiser Lesley Pedder. True to her word, kids can get stuck into a different activity at every event - this time they can try their hand at the craze in loom band creations. Watch crafters at work, enjoy some tempting refreshments and if you are so inclined, you can support a worthwhile charity as you go. Stall-holders each donate an item making for a ready made raffle, which this month is in support of the Henry Allen Trust. Worth a couple of quid of anyone's money... The fair runs between 10am and 4pm and admission is free.
