ANIMAL BLESSING AT HULA THIS WEEKEND

Hula Animal Rescue opens its doors to its supportive public once again this Sunday (Oct 11), this time for its St Francis Open Day.

To that end, there will be an animal blessing on site at 2pm.

Although Hula's own animal houses will be closed on the day, you are warmly invited to bring Rover out to play, so don't leave him at home - he'll love catching up with his other canine pals at Glebe Farm in Aspley Guise.

While there, you can learn about Assistance Dogs, and enjoy the Hula dog parade, which goes walkies from 2.30pm.

Refreshments will be on sale and a pop-up shop will prove quite the allure - remember your cash, folks!

Entry is £2 for adults, with accompanied children going free.

The event runs between 1pm and 4pm, and all proceeds are for the care and welfare of Hula's animals.

Please give what you can.
