ANNUAL FUNDRAISER FOR NORTH BUCKS RSPCA

Milton Keynes & North Bucks RSPCA is holding its Summer Fair this Saturday (June 4) at the Memorial Hall in Great Linford, in an effort swell much needed funds for our local group.

Attractions will include tarot card readings, face painting, unique and handmade gifts, hook-a-duck, raffle, tombola, lucky dip, plants, cards, bric-a-brac and jewellery.

And if you fancy a nibble of something naughty but nice, walk straight over to the homemade cake stall.

The team of volunteers do such sterling work rescuing cats, kittens and small mammals that otherwise wouldn't get a second chance.

We speak from experience too – having re-homed three of the puddy-tats from the branch.

One arrived battered and bruised (literally), another with a deep distrust of humans.

And the other? She's a very smart little girl, who were it not for the tenacity and quick thinking of the RSPCA wouldn't be curled up next to us as we write this.

Admission on Saturday is free and parking plentiful, so do pop by and spare a few pennies to help the charity to help as many animals as possible. The event will run between 1.30pm and 4pm.

And if you can give a home to an animal, visit www.rspcamiltonkeynes.co.uk or call 01908 611179.
