BADMINTON ACE ANTHONY CLARK TO VISIT STANTONBURY LEISURE CENTRE

A new Badminton course for adults will have a special guest at its launch next Thursday (Jan 15).

Anthony Clark has won seven Commonwealth medals, two World Championship medals and represented Great Britain at two Olympic Games.

Hugely respected, Anthony also gained 106 caps for England during his time at play.

He now works as a coach and commentator, and is a Badminton England Ambassador.

Anthony will join the 'Essential by No Strings' course for its first session at Stantonbury Leisure Centre.

The eight week long course will help adult beginners to improve confidence by learning the essential skills to play a good game.

Organisers promise a relaxed, fun and social environment for all.

Whether you've never played before, haven't played since school or simply want to improve your game...whatever your motivation, get yourself along...” they invite.

The course will run 6.30pm-7.30pm for eight weeks, and the cost course is £40, which includes a free racket.
