BAILEY MCCONNELL & KARL ROBINSON TO LIGHT UP THE THEATRE DISTRICT IN SUPPORT OF HENRY ALLEN TRUST

If you let it, the Theatre District will illuminate your weekend when it welcomes some familiar faces to do the honours at its Christmas lights switch on, this Sunday (Nov 30). MKs favourite son Bailey McConnell and MK Dons manager Karl Robinson will be flicking the switch that will light up the area. Bailey and Karl will be on hand in their capacity as patrons of The Henry Allen Trust, which Sunday's event is supporting. Henry touched the hearts of our city during his brave brave battle with Neuroblastoma, an aggressive childhood cancer. Henry passed away aged just four years, in 2013, and the trust in his name has been established by his parents to bring happiness to other children and their families who are battling cancer. It is a fantastic charity, and deserving of your support.  If we all give just a little, collectively the charity can make a huge difference to those in need, while honouring Henry's memory. Entertainment on the day will also comes courtesy of MK band The Shures, Scott Finley, Barleyhurst Park Primary School, Alive & Singing Rock and Pop Choir, hip-hop champions Limitless, the MKCM cheerleaders and the man with the beard and the red coat will be stopping by too... The fun starts officially at 4pm and Keith Emmett is providing free rides for little mites at the event.  A variety of stalls will also tempt visitors before the official switch on at around 6.45pm. > To find out more information about The Henry Allen Trust visit www.thehenryallentrust.org.uk
