Not long to wait now: The first Rugby World Cup match in Milton Keynes is being hosted at stadium:mk tomorrow of course, when France V Canada.
The match might be sold out, but there are plenty of supplementary events happening across town in the coming days as Milton Keynes gets roar-some for rugby!
As previously mentioned (see here: http://www.totalmk.co.uk/rugby-world-cup-celebrate-the-fiery-side-with-clash-of-drums/ ) Clash of Drums/Danbor Talka will celebrate the World Cup with an explosive, thrilling spectacular taking hold in the heart of town this Friday and Saturday night.
The two tribes – Les Commandos Percu and Deavbru Beltzak – will be followed by crowds for the free spectacular which will be a cataclysmic collision of fast and frenzied drumming, war-like chanting, fireworks, pyrotechnics and dramatic movement. And it's totally free to attend.
These stunning shots taken by Christian Hambly during rehearsals last night, show artists from Milton Keynes’ Festive Road preparing to take part in the extravaganza.
It's going to be quite the spectacle...
