EASTER: HAVE A CRACKING TIME WITH MK MUSEUM'S EGG HUNT!

Any excuse to visit MK Museum is welcome, and a yummy Easter Egg Hunt will do nicely!

Youngsters are invited to search for hidden eggs that will unlock the way to chocolate rewards from Good Friday (March 25) to Easter Sunday.

But, as usual, the museum has plenty more interesting items to keep you entertained too.

The story of communication is told in the Connected Earth gallery, and the Victorian farmhouse will give you hands-on fun, and plenty of it; from playing puff billiards to controlling the quite fabulous miniature fairground in the toy room.

As you continue to explore, you'll see a forge in operation, experience an air raid in the wartime garden (one of our favoured spots) and make a brass rubbing to take home with you.

Easter marks the start of the historical hub's summer opening hours too, which seems to have come round ridiculously quickly.

It means you can visit between 11am and 4.30pm from Wednesday to Sunday, and a new ticketing scheme is in operation – pay once, and you'll have free entry for the following 12 months.

And, trust us, the museum is a place you will want to return to, again and again.
