EVERYONE IS INVITED TO STANTONBURY'S RUBY ANNIVERSARY THIS WEEKEND

A birthday party with added fun and games is promised for Saturday (June7) - and you are most welcome. Stantonbury Theatre is 40 years young and celebrating its Ruby Anniversary with an Open Day, and entertainment will be no problem - with many of the MK groups who have made the venue their home performing for you. Wolverton Gilbert & Sullivan Society, Arts One Performing Arts School, Myra Tiffin Performing Arts School, Company MK and Yaw's House Productions all have performances ready for you during the course of the day. Music is sorted too - with The Music Makers of MK, Wolverton Light Orchestra and Bradwell Silver Band in control. There will be plenty more to indulge in with a summer craft market and plant sale, while a fun fair and magic show will appeal to kids of all ages. "It is such an exciting milestone to reach and deserves a suitably large celebration," said Hilary Rhodes, Arts Development Manager at Stantonbury Theatre.   PussDRf347 copy "The Open Day will give us a chance to look back fondly on the history of the theatre, while also looking forward to the next 40 years of dedicated entertainment. "Stantonbury Theatre prides itself on being a theatre for all, and we extend a warm invitation to everyone to come along and share in the celebrations," she added.
