FESTIVAL FRINGE: DESPERATE MEN

On Tuesday (July 22) Milton Keynes Festival Fringe presents Desperate Men. Slapstick and Slaughter 'expresses art's reaction to the war's wholesale destruction of lives, the old order and old hypocrisies.' Desperate Men, which will show in Margaret Powell  Square outside MK Theatre, at Noon and 4pm - is a playful, physical and absurd exploration of World War One on culture and the arts. This theatre experience will 'examine how the war's barbaric chaos manifested itself in the sometimes surreal, sometimes nihilistic art that grew from it.'
