GO OUTDOORS THIS WEEKEND FOR A WHEELY GREAT TIME!

GO Outdoors, is hosting a mini cycle festival at its store in Rooksley this weekend.

Saturday's (July 18) event is being hosted by 'The Flying Scotsman' Graeme Obree, and will include a Q&A with the two-time world record holder and jaw-dropping stunts by Dare 2b's M.A.D cycle team.

Kids will be kept happy with a bouncy castle, face painter and in-store treasure hunt.

MK bike fans will also be able to compete against each other in Rollapaluza, a high intensity stationary bike race.

GO Outdoors has recently invested hundreds of thousands of pounds into its cycling departments and staff across the country to provide local communities with the best selection of bikes on the market.

The expanded Milton Keynes department is the first of its kind for the brand and includes over 100 different models of bikes including Calibre bikes, which are exclusive to GO Outdoors.

Developed by an in-house team of experienced product developers and biking enthusiasts, Calibre bikes have received widespread industry recognition and awards since their launch in 2014 due to their high functionality and competitive pricing.

Discussing GO Outdoors’ commitment to cycling, Barry Dunn Head of Cycling explains “We have always provided a huge range of bikes and equipment for cyclists of all levels and now with the increased investment into our cycling departments across the country that range has expanded further.

"From our award winning Calibre bikes to our range of helmets and everything in between, the product offering at our Milton Keynes store is an example of the future for cycling across GO Outdoors superstores”.

Speaking of his involvement in the mini cycle festival, Graeme Obree says, “I’m glad to be able to help GO Outdoors celebrate their growing cycling departments.

"It’s great to see so many people taking up the sport and to have a superstore like GO Outdoors where, no matter your level of experience, you can find the equipment that suits your needs”.
