Milton Keynes welcomes 'exceptional recitalist of versatility' this week

Pianist Alexander Ardakov is a Graduate of Moscow Conservatoire and prizewinner in the Viotto International Competition in Italy.

He has developed into an exceptional recitalist of versatility and musical integrity.
Ardakov has recorded with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and made many appearances on BBC Radio 3 and Classic FM.

'“Audiences are swept up in the sensitivity, intensity and passion of his playing that takes them on a journey from the most tender and intimate perceptions to the dramatic peaks of life’s greatest moments,' said one critic.

He is an outstanding interpreter of romantic repertory, and his Milton Keynes recital of Rachmaninov and Chopin will display his ability at his very best, including a rare opportunity to experience the complete set of Chopin’s Ballades in the same concert.

Alexander performs as part of the Music at the City Church season on Wednesday (January 18) at the Church of Christ the Cornerstone.

Admission is £10 (concessions £9.50, child £1) by programme at the door.
