SACRED SONG FOR STONY STRATFORD WITH POLYMNIA

Summer Delight is guaranteed at St Mary and St Giles Church in Stony Stratford tonight (Saturday, June 6), when chamber choir Polymnia – named after the Greek muse of sacred song – take over.

Since forming in 2006, they've built an enviable reputation for their vocal prowess and union, and their return to Milton Keynes comes under the Stony Live! Banner.

They will be joined by pianist Anna Le Hair, and directed by John Bryon.

So far as the programme is concerned, expect to hear works by Elgar, John Hearne and Stanford, the Vaughan Williams delivery Three Shakespeare Songs and Gershwin's Summertime.

Organisers promise you an atmospheric and memorable night in their company, from 7.30pm.
