THE LIVING ARCHIVE: MUSIC AND MEMORIES FROM THE ARCHIVISTS

Indulge in reminiscence this Saturday evening (Oct 24) when The Living Archive Band present a special one-off musical performance, writes Sarah Davies.

The event will feature the extraordinary voices and fascinating life stories of ordinary people, recorded for the area archivists throughout the 20th Century, and the songs that they inspired.

With visual accompaniment from the area displayed throughout the night, and a live performance from The Living Archive Band, it will be an exclusive opportunity to hear and see what people said about the place that became Milton Keynes, and is now our home.

Staying refreshed while listening to music that’s both home-grown and universal will be easy – the bar will be serving throughout.

Tickets for the event at York House in Stony Stratford are £7, and show time is 7pm.

All profits raised will help the Living Archive MK to continue its work to ‘record, cherish and celebrate’ the lives of the people of Milton Keynes.
