WOBURN FESTIVAL PROMISES WHEELIE GREAT ENTERTAINMENT THIS WEEKEND

The annual Woburn Festival returns this weekend (August 30 & 31) with family fun, music and entertainment in abundance. A flea market and food stalls will tempt you both days and music will spill from the cobbled area in the heart of the village. Meantime, St Mary's Churchyard will be busy with stalls, entertainment for the kids and a dog show. Inside the church itself, the MK Society of Artists will be holding their annual exhibition. In front of the Heritage Centre - on Bedford Street, fruit, vegetables, flowers  and cakes will be in competition. Who will have grown the prized example, and who will have made the most delicious Victoria Sponge, or Coffee and Walnut cakes? All will be revealed.... On Sunday, the attractions will be 'wheelie' special - with a ride through the village by vintage motorbikes, and don't forget to cheer on the locals at the tug-of-war competition, in St Mary's Churchyard from 3.30pm.
