WHY PAY A VISIT: This fantastic site is nestled next to the ancient Shenley Wood, originally mentioned in the Domesday book and part moated the 17th C building is filled with atmosphere and history.
The grounds are a haven for wildlife such as great crested newts and the house is home to long eared bats.
The studios are throughout the buildings and a selection of spaces are temporary, so that members of the public can come and try their hand at art and creative projects.
